We are researching recommended scanners and receipt printers for our cash desk that are compatible with Windows 7. These would be locally attached devices to the Cash Desk, FPCJ. We currently use a scanner for reading a scan line on the bill stub to automatically prefill the account number and billed amount on FPCJ. The receipt printer records transactions on a journal tape, prints customer receipts, and endorses customer checks.
Do any of you that are using FPCJ with Windows 7 have a scanner and receipt printer that is working well for you?
If so, could you please reply with the brand and model number and any comments about hardware configuration.
